ACA Insurance



 
 
Alpine Ski Nova Scotia as a member of Alpine Canada Alpin has its insurance requirements managed by the Canadian Snowsports Association (CSA)
 
The CSA is a federation of its ten ski and snowboard disciplines, whose mandate is the development of elite amateur athletes and the pursuit of excellence at national and international level competitions for all disciplines:
Alpine/SX/CSCF    Freestyle    Ski Foundation Speed Skiing      
Cross Country    Nordic Combined Ski Jumping    Telemark   
Disabled   ParkScapers Snowboarding   FIS


The purpose of the CSA is to work with its members according to the following principles:
  1. Manage General Liability, Directors & Officers, Sport Accident (SAIP) and other insurance programs.

  2. Manage Canada’s membership within the FIS.
  3. Represent the CSA membership with those affiliations identified by the Board.
  4. Serve as the collective voice for members and Canadian competitive snow sports.
  5. Deliver optional services that benefit most of the membership. 
  6. Provide advice, assistance and optional operational services to members as requested and as is feasible and cost effective.
