WSRC AGM RSVP, Member Survey, Board & Committee Opportunities

Hello WSRC Families, 

Your engagement and feedback are  important to the success of this club. 

There are 3 upcoming opportunities to contribute and participate:

1. Member Survey - Complete the survey at the link below to provide your feedback. The survey results are used to: 

• Assess overall satisfaction with the program.
• Guide areas to improve and modify as well as maintain and build on. Both constructive and positive feedback are welcome.
• Inform both the Board and the Program Coordinator who review the results in detail.

2. AGM - Tuesday, June 20th, 7PM - Mark Your Calendar

Open to all members but you must RSVP to attend. 

The AGM is intended for parents and guardians of athletes. 

A meeting package and specific connections instructions will be forwarded to all voting members who RSVP by June 13th.

3. Volunteer Roles

Board Members Wanted

We are actively recruiting new board members for the following roles. Please contact Katie Hilton at  katielhilton@me.com if you are interested or wish to learn more. 

• Board Secretary - responsible for coordinating board meetings, minutes, supporting communications to the club.

• Director, Equipment - responsible for working with coaching staff and the board to assess needs, place orders and coordinate receipt. 

• Director, Officials - responsible for supporting the development of volunteer officials by informing the club of training opportunities, and recruiting and coordinating volunteer officials to support races.
  
  Website / Communications Support Wanted

We are currently in the process of updating our website. If you have communications or website maintenance experience, we welcome your input. Reach out to Chantal Pelham-Edwards for more information. chantal@thirdsectorenhancement.com

HR and Finance Committee Members Wanted

We recognize there are many skills and expertise within our membership that would be a great asset to the club. 

We are forming two committees to support the development and refinement of our policies as well as to support special projects under the HR and Finance functions to continue to improve our organization. 

With representation from both the BOD and members at large, these committees will meet monthly and should expect to spend no more than 2-6 hours / month.
