Our Ski Wentworth Holiday Camp registration will open this coming week.

U8 (3 day camp)

SIDECUT Ski Tuning FREE Workshop via Zoom
December 7th, 7pm

This interactive workshop focuses on informing parents, athletes, and coaches about the importance of ski tuning and its link to becoming a better skier. This is an exceptional opportunity to spend time with Chris Hillier or Pierre Ruel from SIDECUT.  

During the 1-1.5 hour workshop you will learn how to tune and wax using their 4-step method. The information is supported by new videos and written documentation.

Special Congratulations to WSRC Coach Mike Byrne
Congratulations to Mike Byrne who just became Ski Nova Scotia's part-time Technical Director. This role will work with our High Performance pathway to help develop and retain racers as they approach the later stages of their young racing experiences. Visit our Facebook Page for details.

Officials Level 3 Update Registration Now Open - FREE to Attend
November 28th
Four hour course hosted by Ski NS via Zoom between 10:00am - 3:30pm, with breaks, will cover: 

  • Rules changes, interpretation and common problems.  
  • Timing and race administration.
  • ​Roles of various officials, including Chief of Race, Chief of Course, Referee, TD and Chief of Gate judges.

This update is available to: 

  • Current Level 3's, 
  • Technical Delegates, 
  • Chief of Race Volunteers, 
  • Major Club Officials, and 
  • current Level 2 Officials

Current Level 2's, Level 3's and TD's, participation in this course can help you keep your certifications active for the 2020/2021 season. 

Coaches are also welcome to attend. If capacity becomes an issue, priority will be given to current officials.
