Parents are also asked to complete the Health Check survey available through the TeamSnap app before they arrive. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Mont Farlagne Training Camp - Dec. 12th - 21st
Camp Fees due by Nov. 10th. 

The annual, optional training camp operated by Team Atlantic, an independent company owned and operated by Gregor Byrne, will be hosted at Mont Farlagne this year. This 10-day camp is open to athletes U10 and up. (And up to 3 U8 athletes if there is interest). This is an excellent opportunity to help young athletes gain more days on snow in our short season. 

WSRC athletes are able to attend at a discounted rate. Registration and camp fees are due by Nov. 10th.

Holiday Camp Options

In addition to the usual Wentworth holiday camps, this year athletes will also have the option of attending a WSRC camp at Mont Farlagne. Proposed Dates are:

• Holiday Camp @ Wentworth - Dec. 27 - 31
• Holiday Camp @ Mont Farlagne - Dec. 27 - 31
• Pre-race Camp @ Mont Farlagne - Jan. 5 - 8

• Senior Teams - Tuesday December 1st, 8PM
• U8 & U10 - Tuesday, January 5th, 8PM

Meet the coaching staff and parent representatives. Learn about the expectations of young athletes and how you can support them. And ask any questions you may have. A zoom link will be sent closer to the date to all parents of registered athletes. 

Officials Level 3 Update - November 28th 

When:
Ski NS will host a 4 hour Officials Level 3 Update on November 28th via Zoom. 

Approx Session Times:
10:00am - 12:00pm, 1:00pm-2:00pm, 2:30pm-3:30pm Atlantic

Who:
Current Level 3's, Technical Delegates, Chief of Race Volunteers, Major Club Officials, and current Level 2 Officials are encouraged to sign up for the Officials Level 3 Update.

This Level 3 Update will serve as the requirement for current Level 2's, Level 3's and TD's to keep their certifications active for the 2020/2021 season. 

Coaches are also welcome to attend the Level 3 update. If capacity becomes an issue, priority will be given to current officials.

Cost:
Free! Ski Nova Scotia will cover the cost of the Level 3 Update to better support our member clubs for the 2020/2021 season.

What:

• Two hours on rules changes and rules interpretation as well as common problems.  This would include case studies in breakout rooms.
• One hour on timing and race administration.
• ​One hour on the roles of various officials, including Chief of Race, Chief of Course, Referee, TD and Chief of Gate judges.
