PART 1 - NEWS

1.1 – Sad news - Join us in sincere condolences to the Wilson family due to the passing of David Wilson.  The Wilson family wrote a wonderful obituary for Dave:

Dave Wilson and the Wilson family established Ski Wentworth as the focal point of skiing in Nova Scotia. Generations of families have enjoyed the Ski Wentworth community thanks to the dedication and hard work of Dave Wilson.  WSRC has made a $1,000.00 donation to the Canadian Ski Patrol, Wentworth Chapter, in his memory.

2.2 Aerobics First Ski Gear Sale
Here’s the highlights for sale gear and upcoming season:

• SALE DETAILS:  All last year’s gear is NOW 30% off and a few items up to 50% off. 30% off tuning gear as well.
• Race gear is coming in this week.
• Brands are saying there will be a shortage of gear.
• Race fittings start this week. Families should be ordering, calling for a chat about their needs or setting up appointments with us to be fitted to make sure they have gear.
• Tune shop will be open starting in August for race preps and tunes. When families receive gear, get it tuned right away.
• Regular ski product will be arriving in the next couple of weeks. Again, they’re projecting a shortage, so we’ve decided to receive our orders now to make sure we get our product.
• Customers can start looking at gear early to guarantee they get what they want.
• Staffing update:  Tom Johns has moved in a new direction and will not be part of the AF team any longer; we wish him the best in his endeavours.  Contacts are Dean Cheverie and Tom Hill. Charlie will be starting back with us in October.

2.5 – Registration is now open to returning member families only…until August 15^th when registration opens to the public. 

• Early bird registration ends September 30th.
• Register early to avoid disappointment.
• Reminder that to register for the upcoming season, returning members must be a member in good standing, i.e. - any outstanding monies owed to WSRC must be paid in full.
