The 201920 Season has ended more quickly than anticipated but we still want your feedback. For those of you new to WSRC, we ask members to complete this survey every year.
What do we do with this survey you ask?
Our analysis of the 2018/19 survey included bucketing the comments in the following categories: 1 - participation, 2 - coaching, 3 - programming, 4 - WSRC organization, 5 - racing, 6 - officials/volunteers and 7 - equipment. We held a planning session last May and attended by about 15 people for four hours and dug into the first three buckets in a workshop format.
Last year’s results included that the program was generally
well-regarded (97% of 58 survey respondents either agree or strongly agree that they view the WSRC program in a positive manner) and that Members are satisfied with progression of their children’s skiing (96% of 58 respondents either agree or strongly agree that their child received the benefits of the program that they expected).
So, in summary, WSRC is always evolving, tinkering away at what works or tearing down and rebuilding what doesn’t work. We want your feedback to help us in our effort to do this. This is your chance to have a voice!!

What do we do with this survey you ask?
- Use it as a measuring stick for overall satisfaction with the program.
- As our coaching staff say: ‘control your controllables’, so we look for comments around things we can change. We review constructive comments that can help guide initiatives for improvement, modifications to the program or the way we administer the program. We also pay attention to themes of comments. Positive feedback is welcome as well to highlight things we should keep doing or build on.
- Club leadership meets with the Program Coordinator and the results are reviewed in detail; including every comment.
- Share it with Lead Coaches and the Board of Directors (BoD). Table results at May BoD meeting.
- Refer to it continuously throughout the offseason and into the following season as an indicator of the sentiment of the membership and in setting priorities.
