We are getting closer and closer to the big Roland Brunner event where we need all hands on deck.  Parents are strongly encouraged to get involved and volunteer !!!

We are getting closer and closer to the big Roland Brunner Event where we need all hands on deck.  This is a  large event that our club hosts every year.  U14+ Athletes from all over the Maritimes come to our hill to race in this codexed event (this is a sanctioned timed event where the athletes can earn their national points, one of only a few in the Maritimes) ... A BIG DEAL !!!!!  There are still a number of volunteer opportunities available for the weekend of Feb 21-23, especially on Friday.

The majority of the athletes in the club are younger so we really need those parents to come forward and help, it is an opportunity to learn the sport and to show your athletes that you are as engaged in their sport as they are.  We expect the coaching staff to do their job and we have to do our part and help out to run the race.

For additional reference, in a very timely article for our club, Alpine Canada, our national sport organization posted an article last week:  "The Importance of Volunteers in Ski Racing"  https://alpinecanada.org/news/the-importance-of-volunteers-in-ski-racing

Parents are strongly encouraged to get involved and volunteer !!!
