Chocloate Bar Bingo at the Clubhouse was a Hit!!

Saturday Night at the Clubhouse Series Races Twelve Hours of Wentworth Great Chilli Cook-off Silent Auction and Hopping Penguins We Need You (!!!)

Newsletter #6

This weekend, 30 WSRC athletes are participating in the Ben Eoin Skier Cross Camp/Race and/or Slalom Race.  Good luck to all!!  For the rest, programs will run as usual in Wentworth.  If the hill is open, so are we.

1 - VOLUNTEERING UPDATE

Hello racer parents, just a quick update on volunteering expectations.  Every race that happens throughout the ski season is 100% dependant on volunteers.  Each ski club is REQUIRED to provide gate judges/keepers to allow the event to run.  This list of volunteers is to be submitted early in the week before the event along with the list of competing athletes.  Though WSRC has a history of stepping up last minute this causes a lot of issues for the organizing committee.  We are even feeling the pinch for our own Wentworth events.

The signup page is actively maintained and live with all the events throughout the season.  Should you have any questions about any of the categories or roles please let me know and I will happily fill in any knowledge gaps.

Please visit the page via the parent drop down window, volunteer button, or via the attached link: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/409044aa4a728a2f49-volunteers.

Please visit the link and find an area where you can help.

Thank you and see you on the slopes

2 - CLUBHOUSE SATURDAY NIGHT SERIES

Chocolate Bar Bingo Recap…19 HIGH ENERGY U10s and U12s enjoyed candy bar bingo at the clubhouse last Saturday night.  It was a TOTAL BLAST!!  Thanks to those parents who stuck around to help:  Susie Cooke, Christina Healy, Sarah Moses, Sarah Terauds and Tanya Tulipan.  Thanks to Kate Lovett for organizing.

This Saturday…Board Game Night for U8-U12….our usual suspects for organizing this are away at Ben Eoin.  If anyone wants to help out with this event, please let us know, otherwise we are going to have to put a pin in it.
