4 – Plans for the Weekend:

• Friday Night Lights, our Adult Learn-to-Race program is postponed.
• U14, U16, U18:  GS training.  SG & GS on Sunday.
• U12:  SL training Saturday
• U8-U12:  Slingshot on Sunday. 
• We will host about 55 Martock athletes. 
• No change to program start time. 
• Athletes will be provided a BBQ lunch on the deck outside Ducky’s.
• If you can, please allow some extra time at the end of the day for awards.  Plan for about 4pm finish.

5 – Silent Auction Prize Donations Needed:  Saturday, March 2^nd is our Silent Auction and Dance.  If you have a prize you would care to donate, please contact Christina Pace at Christina@rodddev.com

6 – Our extremely talented and generous WSRC Dad and professional photographer Jeff Cooke (@cookedphotography) manages our social media including Instagram.  You will see Jeff out snapping photos on training and race days.  Jeff also has an apprentice in second year U14 (Severn Parsons) who helps Jeff obtain more footage. 

If you are interested in obtaining any of the fabulous photos, Jeff has created a site where electronic versions can be downloaded for $25 each with all proceeds going towards WSRC.  There are also options for pro-quality printing at pro-pricing.

7 – JD Todd:  In case you missed the Instagram story on wentworthracing, JD Todd, a WSRC Alumni, is FIS racing full-time this season, predominantly in Ontario and Quebec.  We will continue to provide updates on JD’s activities this winter on Instagram.  JD’s second race event of the season was this past week & he had a very solid 12^th on Saturday.  Go JD!!

8 – Found (!) at Brad & Erika’s after their Welcome Social:  1 pair childrens purple smart wool socks and 1 WSRC club toque.  If either of these went missing the first weekend of programs; contact Karen at admin@wentworthracing.com
