Special Announcement – New Clubhouse for 2018/19 Season & Capital Campaign Launch!!

Have you heard the news?  WSRC are starting the season off with a New Clubhouse (!!) 

We are super excited by the potential of this new clubhouse to enhance our program offerings! Here are some of the highlights:

Pre- and Post-training Meeting Space

• U14+ and U12 will have dedicated meeting space.
• U10 & U8 will be invited in with coaches on occasion for use of learning centres, but will not dress or be dropped off.

Two Learning Centres

• Coaches will be able to meet with their groups at beginning and end of day. 
• Space utilization will optimize different start times between age groups.
• U10’s will incorporate learning centres into programming on an introductory basis, such as inclement weather, etc – minimum 2 sessions/season.
• Both equipped with 60” flat screen TV & 48” wipe board.
• Club also investing in Video Analysis Software:  Sprongo

Also

• Adequate space for tuning seminars, officials course, meetings, etc

We believe this will enhance the opportunities for mentoring between older and younger athletes and improve the WSRC’s inclusiveness.

Our busy off-season to make this all a reality continues….

• Our existing clubhouse (40x12) is for sale.
• Maple Leaf Homes will be delivering the new clubhouse (72 x 16) the week of November 13^th
• We are planning a New Clubhouse Set-Up Day & Teambuilding  Event  on November 25, 2018.
• Grand Opening of the New Clubhouse will be in January.

Announcing the Launch of our Capital Campaign.  

The generosity of a private lender allows WSRC membership to enjoy the use of the clubhouse while fundraising at the same time.  The Club has on hand $42,400 designated for capital spending which is being used towards the new Clubhouse.  Additionally, we are seeking to raise money through the Capital campaign outlined below.

Congratulations to Tim Hilton, WSRC parent, who has secured $1500 from RBC towards the campaign.  If every member could source one sponsor, this would ensure the success of our campaign.  We need your support!

Capital Campaign Outline

Goal – To create an all-inclusive, bright, fun-filled, positive environment for the race team kids to interact, learn, teach and grow together while developing into our solid leaders of tomorrow.

Capital Campaign:  With your involvement and support our need is to raise $50,000 over 5 years to repay a private lender interest free loan. Over achievement will go to replenish the capital fund and provide for continual clubhouse improvements.

• One-time $3000 Cash Donation or greater
• Corporate name on Clubhouse Exterior and Start Hut for three years
• Corporate name on Clubhouse Interior Sponsor Wall for three years

• 5 Year Commitment
• $1000 per Year
