If you are a U8/U10 or U12 athlete and missed the Slingshot, we have leftover T-shirts.  These will be available on Saturday during 12-Hours of WW.  Just ask your coach to find Karen.

Brunner:

• Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!
• We have such an amazing community of parents!!
• Clubs from other provinces were very pleased and complimentary of the Brunner Race Event and this would not have been possible without you!
• Congratulations to Emily & JD Todd; 2018 winners of the Brunner Cup Trophy!
• An athlete from Poley left behind a pair of Artica snow pants; if anyone comes across these, please let us know.

Aerobics First:

• In case you haven’t heard, Aerobics First are back into racing….
• Provided an amazing assortment of prizes for the Brunner event.

• Order form for race suits, etc to follow and will have a similar deadline.

Congratulations to our coaches who spent all of last week at Ben Eoin and earned their DL certification.  WSRC boasts the most qualified coaches in Atlantic Canada:  Lexi, Ali, Diana, Grace, Connor, Ben and Olivia.

This Weekend:

• 12 Hours of Wentworth on Saturday.
• Ben Eoin Ski Cross Camp Thursday/Friday, Ski Cross Race on Saturday and Slalom Race on Sunday
• Ski Wentworth Event Cathy’s Cup, open to the public:  http://skiwentworth.ca/event/cathys-cup/  (Everyone is encouraged to support this worthy cause it is a cancer fundraiser you will need to pay money and register your child to obtain a bib.  Your coach will take the group down during one of their runs.  Every participant gets a ribbon and there are a lot of donated prizes awarded in Ducky’s later on in the day.  Parents can do it to - it is really fun!  Previous years’ awards to WSRC parents included Holly Erith-Ellwood fastest woman over 40 and Leslie Henderson winning some very nice earrings.)
• We will be manning a S’more Pit at the bottom of the Cathy’s Cup run; open to all patrons of Ski Wenworth compliments of WSRC on Saturday.

 
March 5- 9

• March Break Camp 1
• Coaching resources have been planned around the number of people who have registered.  No drop in’s please.  If you are interested in attending part or all of this camp, you need to register in advance.

March 9-11
