First and foremost, a huge thank you to….

2 - Everyone who helped make our Silent Auction and Hopping Penguins event a huge success!

• The people who beat the streets for prize contributions.
• The people who donated prizes themselves.
• The people who hosted cottages full of people to attend the event.
• The people who helped man the auction and the door.
• The people who helped pack up at the end of the night.
• Everyone who bought a ticket or bid on a prize.

This Weekend:

• Our U14 and Up athletes are at a race in Crabbe.
• Friday coaching will be provided by Joey Lynn Graham and Connor Myers.
• Saturday and Sunday for U14+ athletes remaining in Wentworth will be coached by Brittany Carter and Joey Lynn Graham.
• Regular programs at Wentworth for everyone else.
• If you have yet to pick up your raffle tickets, they will be available for pickup in front of the lodge at the 9:30am drop-off time.

50/50: 

• We are looking for a volunteer family to sell the 50/50 tickets on Sunday at the lodge during lunch time.

• Last week’s winner was Todd Johns and $121 was raised for the Club.

• U8 U 10 U12 race in Brookvale (20 minutes from Charlottetown) PEI on February 10 & 11.

2 - MARTOCK RACE 

• U8 U10 U12 race at Martock on February 17.

Congratulations to Isaac Lovett for winning the 2^nd Annual Slingshot T-shirt Design Contest.

Website rejigged:  Race Notices on the top menu bar is now replaced with Racing and under Racing we have Race Notices, Race Accommodations, and Race Results.  Anyone interested in perusing the times from last weekend’s Slingshot can find them there.

Save the date!  Sunday, February 18^th; 5-7pm.  WSRC Family Bingo at the Wentworth Recreation Centre. Open to the Public.
