About the Hopping Penguins...
The Hopping Penguins are, simply, a terrific live act, a party band extraordinaire. After 35 years and over 30 Canadian tours, the HPs have found their groove.
The band can be sweet in the reggae styles with lush harmonies and it can also be raucous in a writhing driving funk. Like a good actor, the band has range; like a safe harbour, it has depth. From the lyrical and profound to the guttural and pounding, the HP's bring an eclectic and diverse pastiche to every show.
The Silent Auction will open at 11:30am Saturday and close during the Dance. We have over 50 prizes. Here is a sampling...
