Until October 7^th; Camps are open to WSRC only.  After October 7^th, camps are first come first serve to all clubs in Atlantic Canada.  Registration and fees are due in full by October 31^st.


These camps are a fantastic opportunity to get on snow early, and get in almost as much skiing as a regular season of weekends at Wentworth but in a more concentrated way so athletes reap lots of benefits (and they are very fun too!!)
 
A Typical Day at a Mont Ste Anne Camp:
7:30-7:45am Morning Activation Exercises 
9:15am Meet at Gondola with packed lunch
(8:15am on weekends)2-2:30pm Return from Hill
2:30-4 Rest / Homework
4pm Dryland Training
5pm Video Analysis / Debrief / Plan for Tomorrow
 


 
Our Camps are not a vacation - They are in fact some of the key building blocks for a more productive training and racing season for your athlete(s).  
 
The Camps are hard work but a lot of fun for the athletes too - Lots of friendships and tight team cohesiveness are built at Camp. The programs for U10s and U12s will be tailored for them of course. 
 
These Camps are designed to give your athletes a HUGE head-start on their training and racing season. During the Camps we do daily dry-land training before and after we are on the snow, we will introduce our age-group specific mental training sessions , do individual seasonal goal-setting as well as on-snow technical and tactical training - Its a great start foir their season - AND - a lot of FUN..  
 
Taking into account the uphill lift capacity at Mont Ste Anne ,as well as the dedicated lane space that we are able to secure , each day training on these Camps is equivalent to skiing a weekend at Ski Wentworth. That being said 10 days of training at Mont Ste Anne is the equivalent of 10 weekends training at Ski Wentworth.

CAMP ONE DECEMBER 4^th  to 10^th, 2017 – SEVEN DAYS

TECH CAMP – GS & SL
·         Athletes:  This Camp is open to U12,U14, U16, U18 & U21 Athletes
·         Coaches:  Gregor Byrne, Mike Clarke,  Louis Florjansic, Connor Myers
·         Accommodation:

o    U14 & Up athletes stay with the coaches on this Camp.
o    U12 Athletes will need to have parents accompany them.
o    Minimum 4 U12 athletes required to have a U12 camp.
·         Basic Agenda:
o    Two Days Free Skiing
o    Five Days of Morning/Afternoon Lanes with Gate Training.
·         Included in Fee:
o    Coaching
o    Lifts
o    Lanes
o    Equipment
o    Coaching & Coach Expenses
o    Accommodation & Meals
o    Travel is NOT included.
·         Fees:
o    U14 / U16 / U18 - $1500 (No HST)
o    U12 - $1250.00 (Does not include Meals or Accom)
o    Paid to Wentworth Ski Racing Club

CAMP TWO DECEMBER 13^th to 22^nd – TEN DAYS



TECH CAMP – GS & SL
·         Athletes:  This Camp is open to U10, U12, U14, U16, U18 & U21 Athletes
·         Coaches:  Gregor Byrne, Mike Clarke, Sarah Byrne, Connor Myers, Lincoln Eseau, Lexi Steinburg, Grace Myers and Mike Bosshard - Masters Coach  (tentative, to be finalized upon receipt of athlete registrations)
·         Accommodation:

·         Most Athletes stay with Parents on this Camp.
·         Preferred Rates are available.
·         Room & Board:
·         Available for $900.00 per athlete in addition to camp fee.
·         Coaches to Chaperone.
·         Athletes must be U14 & up to board with coaches.
·         Basic Agenda:
·         Closed Lane Space for our groups of athletes for ALL ten days.
·         Drill Sets / Full Course Training / Race Simulation over the ten day camp.
·         Included in Fee:

·         Lift passes
·         Lanes
·         Equipment
·         Coaching & Coach expenses
·         Travel is NOT included.
·         Camp Fee:
·         $1350.00  (No HST)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
1.     Your athlete must be registered and paid in full for WSRC or other home club for the 2017/18 season in order to attend either of these camps. (i.e. - Must have valid ACA membership)
2.      The cancellation policy for MSA Camps is as follows: 
a.     Cancel 4 weeks ahead - full refund
b.     Cancel 2 weeks ahead - two thirds refund
c.     Cancel 1 week ahead - one third refund
d.     Cancel later than 1 week ahead, no refund
3.     There are no refunds associated with weather conditions.
4.     Parent Masters Camp and associated group rate for parent lift passes is available upon request.
5.     Training camps in Mont St. Anne are outsourced to Team Atlantic.  The logistics and complexity of planning and managing these camps is beyond the capacity of the WSRC volunteer board.

Team Atlantic is run by the WSRC Program Coordinator, Gregor Byrne and most of the coaches at these camps will be WSRC coaches ensuring continuity for your athlete.

The WSRC reviews the cost of these camps to ensure that they are comparable to camps offered by other clubs, ASNS and ACA.

 

1. Chalets Mont Ste Anne is where the team meeting space will be located and where the coaches will be staying.  While there are other accommodations in the area, CMSA offers maximum convenience as your athlete(s) can walk to morning activation and afternoon debrief and video analysis.  CSMA units are three levels, have two full bathrooms, laundry facilities, full kitchen and a living room.  There are two grocery stores located less than a 10-minute drive away.  See attached rate sheet for specific rate information.
