Water Ski Camp Opportunity for WSRC Athletes

I am sending this to inform you that WSRC has been working to secure a unique and exciting opportunity to run Water Ski and Wakeboard camps for our Alpine skiers in the last two weeks of August. 

 

Water Ski Wakeboard Nova Scotia have agreed to run week long camps for Alpine athletes that would like to learn towed water sports like slalom skiing, trick skiing, wake skating and wakeboarding.

 

The camps will be held on Miller Lake in Fall River on Lone Cloud Island. The camps will see day long activities while on shore and four sets of water sport per day for each athlete.

 

We are excited to be able to offer this as it will serve to be a great team building experience to end the summer and prime our athletes for the coming Ski season with a sport that very much compliments Alpine Skiing.

 

It is our hope to run the week of Aug 21st -Aug. 25 for U-16 and up athletes and the week of Aug. 28th - Sept. 1 for U14 and down athletes.

 

There is the possibility for these to be overnight camps as there are sleeping quarters on the island as well. So when you contact WSWNS be sure to indicate if you would prefer day camps or sleep over camps to assist us in deciding what works best for the majority.

 

There is only room for ten kids each week so it is important you sign up quickly to assure your athlete gets a spot.

 

The cost will range between $320 - $450 depending if they are day camps or sleep over camps.
