1 - Current Events to register for on the website:

• Brunner Camp U14 + Feb 28-March 2
• Brunner Race U14+ March 3-5
• Byrne Memorial Cup  U12 & U14 March 10
  • (no Friday training this day)
  • Older athletes can act as course crew and slippers

 
2 - This weekend there are 8 WSRC athletes attending Martock Race for U10 & U12 on Saturday
 
3 - Saturday At Wentworth is the 12^th annual Cathy’s Cup.  This is a fun race cancer fundraiser.  Register your athlete prior to the start of programs.  You will have to register and sign the waiver inside the lodge in order for your coach to take your child down the course.  The race starts at 10am.  There are lots of prizes and a bbq involved.  Checkout Ski Wentworth’s website for more details.
 
4 - Brunner Registration

• Registration for the Brunner Camp & Race are now open on the website!
• Deadline to register for the Camp is Sunday, February 26th.
• Deadline to register for the race is Tuesday February 28th.
• Athlete safety is our number 1 concern.  To participate in the Super G race on Friday, March 3rd, our club policy is that your athlete must have had minimum 3-days speed training.  
   

5 - Brunner Volunteers Needed

6 - EL Coach Course March 10 -12:

• It is a great resource for parents to have as their racers grow up through the program
• great for ski improvement and general coaching knowledge.
• Joey Lynn Graham will be at the meet point on Saturday and happy to answer any questions on Saturday.
• No previous racing necessary. Candidates should be advanced and be able to ski all terrain with confidence.

5 - 12 Hours of Wentworth - Coming Soon! - March 11^th

• Coaches will be handing out pledge sheets this weekend
• Start collecting your pledges!
• Prizes for top 3 collectors!
• Gregor has $300 in pledges already!
• Fundraising towards $5000 target to pay for new timing equipment.

 
6 - Also coming soon! - Great Chili Cook-off - March 11th

• Compete for the honour of the Golden Ladle & cash prize
• Gregor says his is the best and he is going to win!
• Sign up through sign-up genius to indicate you are entering your chili
• Deadline to enter is Wed March 8^th
• Entry fee of $100 per chili.  50% of entry fee proceeds will go to winner
• Fundraising towards $5000 target to pay for new timing equipment.

7 - March Break Camp

• We regret that there will be limited spaces available on a first come first serve basis. 
• More details to follow.

8 - Parent Camp - March 20 & 21

• Why do the kids get to have all the fun?
• Want to try going around a course yourself & receive some top notch instruction from our stellar coaching staff?
