***Important Notice of Special Meeting***
A Special Meeting of the Wentworth Ski Race Club membership will be held:
When: Tuesday, June 29th, 2010
7:00 pm
Where: Room 2024 - Halifax International Airport
The purpose of the meeting is to consider a resolution to construct a Club facility on the Wentworth ski hill property. This project would involve the use of a portion of the clubs capital investment fund and therefore requires the approval of the membership by way of a Special Meeting.
Please come out and support your club in making this important decision.

Many of you know Alpine Ski Nova Scotia's Executive Director, Lorraine Burch, and may be aware that her 3 year old grand-daughter Madison was battling leukemia. At Easter of this year, Madi was given a clean bill of health, and this week was re-diagnosed with AML leukemia,which came as a huge shock to her family and her medical team . Madi has been readmitted to the IWK & will undergo 2 months of intensive chemo and then on to Toronto for a bone marrow transplant . The search is on for a Bone Marrow Donor which is not expected to be a family member.

OBSERVATION DECK
Please join the WSRC's Board of Directors for reports on a successful 2009/10 ski season and preparation for an exciting year ahead! Every member has a vote at the AGM, which means that every person in a family who was 19 years old or older on November 30, 2009 is eligible to vote.
The Observation Deck is accessed from the elevators
in Airport Square, (the centre core retail area, adjacent Domestic
Departures) behind the fountain. Take the elevator to Level 2. This is
the only elevator that accesses the Observation Deck.
Parking is available and can be accessed as follows:
Follow overhead signage to the Arrivals area (last left turn before reaching the Terminal). Proceed along the Arrivals Road. Parking will be within the green fenced area on the left. Turn in, to the left, at the Gate where the WSRC logo is displayed. Upon leaving the parking area all traffic must turn left.
Tax Receipts for WSRC Programs:
This information is just in from ASNS...The Healthy Living Tax Incentive introduced in 2005 provides a tax credit of up to $500 per child aged 17 and under. Expanding the program to all Nova Scotians is unfortunately, not possible right now due to provincial budget restraints. A receipt must be presented in order to claim the amount. WSRC ski programs qualify for this tax credit. If you require a receipt please email WSRC Club Administrator Julie Ann Wilton at nightingale@accesswave.ca
