Canada Winter Games 2011- Volunteer Application

Volunteers are the heart of the Canada Games!  Several hundred volunteers will be engaged to work with volunteer Division Chairs and Host Society staff to develop and implement operational and project plans in support of the Games.  Volunteers will develop plans in areas such as opening and closing ceremonies, artistic festivals, marketing, broadcasting, media relations, community engagement, information technology services, risk management, office administration, mission services, test events, sport operations, athlete services, village accommodations, medical services, security, materials management, sport venue operations, volunteer recruitment and selection, and accreditation.

Information submitted in the volunteer application form will be used by the Host Society to assess an applicant’s suitability for volunteering, and information will be kept confidential.
