This page contains the 2008-2009 event selection standings for National and International race events as calculated by Atlantic Alpine.  Atlantic Alpine includes, Alpine Ski Nova Scotia, Alpine Newfoundland and Labrador, PEI Alpine, and Alpine New Brunswick. The individual category World Cup standings from Atlantic Races and the Team/Club World Cup Point standings. These files should be updated by the Friday following races.

Event Selection Standings

For K1 and K2 racers, the selection criteria is the sum of National Points for the following Atlantic Cup Series race events during the season prior to the selection date:

• best Slalom result
• best Giant Slalom result
• better of 2nd best Slalom or Giant Slalom
• best result from Kinder Kombined or Super Giant Slalom

The points for each race are the "Race Points" plus the "Race Penalty". The events for selection include, K1 Eastern Championships, K2 National Championships and the Whistler Cup (K1 and K2).

Note: The K1 Eastern Championships have been canceled. K2 and K1 results updated to Marble Cup.

Team/Club Point Standings

The top three finishers per club earn World Cup Points for their team according to their overall finish position. Updated to Marble final results.
